Each class is different but generally follows some variation of the following. 
 
Prayer/invocation
 
Short review of previous month's topic
 
Discussion of a meditation-related topic.  This could include viewing a DVD or listening to a audio recording.
 
Group Practice of Paramhansa Yogananda's techniques (Total time:  about 30 - 40 minutes)
 
  • Energization Exercises
 
  • A few asanas (yoga postures)
 
  • A pranayama (breathing exercise)
 
  • Seated meditation (on the floor or in a chair)
 
  • Healing Prayers
